Renault First To Launch International TV Station

The Detroit Bureau reports that French automaker Renault has launched Renault TV, the first international television station from an automaker.

The auto journal says Renault TV in France is on channel 349 on Canalsat, and in the UK on Sky Guide 883, and that the potential audience is 30 million. The channel has news on Renault vehicles, and lifestyle and entertainment content.

Renault TV will broadcast 24 hours a day with news, road tests, motor sports coverage, company historical archives, portraits of owners, and guests who are well-known athletes in Europe. --Karl Greenberg
