Comcast Corp. has added a remote DVR programming service to its mobile application, allowing users to reprogram their digital video recorders from their phones in any location at any time. Competitors
have had remote programming available for their DVRs for some time (AT&T has been promoting its functionality via TV commercials for about a year). Comcast's feature is available in nine markets, with
more rolling out by the end of the year.
Sprint CEO Dan Hesse has begun appearing in television advertising touting the company's data plans. In the commercial Hesse talks about how people
use their phones for more than just talking, but that competitors' data plans don't provide the extras offered by Sprint. The campaign goes on to assert that: "Our $69.99 is worth more than their
