More Web Surfing During Big TV Events

  • March 17, 2010
More people than ever are surfing the Web while watching big TV events like the Super Bowl and the Academy Awards, according to new data from Nielsen. The company found that 13.3% of those watching the Oscars broadcast in the U.S. this year went online, up from 8.7% in 2009. Likewise, 14.5% went online while tuned into the Super Bowl compared to 12.8% last year. Facebook, Google and Yahoo, not surprisingly, were the most popular sites for two-screen viewers during the shows. --Mark Walsh

You only need to check out the traffic at http://www.LiveFootballChat.com during our superbowl live chat - http://www.livefootballchat.com/lfbc-cogchat/churlchat.do?id=2842 to see how people are flocking to interacting on two screens while watching live events.

Check out http://www.LiveChatConcepts.com for details on our other sites.

Would be happy to do an interview to discuss the bigger project concepts Mark.

    Cheers,
