General Motors Aims At Kentucky Proposal

  • March 22, 2010
General Motors advertised in several Kentucky newspapers on Sunday to protest a bill in the State Legislature that GM says would give auto dealerships that have gone out of business a 10-year right of first refusal on new GM dealerships.

"Without the ability to realize savings across its dealership network and improve customer service, GM's ability to repay its taxpayer loans and continue providing good-paying jobs in Kentucky and across the United States could be at risk," said the ad. --Karl Greenberg
