Citibank hosted a kid's day at Citi Field in New York. The March 20 event continued Citi's tradition of making the ballpark accessible for special experiences for children and the community. "Our Promise to New York" is an effort the bank launched last fall to reinforce its strong and ongoing commitment to the five boroughs, through extended branch hours, special events and partnerships with local community groups.

Three hundred children from Boys and Girls Clubs of America and local YMCAs in the five boroughs were invited to attend the private event. To create a "game day" atmosphere, activities included photos with Mr. Met and private tours of Citi Field. The Radio Disney AM 1560 New York Road Crew entertained kids with music, games, arts and crafts and special prizes.

In addition to Kids Day at Citi Field, Citibank branches in the outer boroughs also hosted baseball themed activities on March 20, including kids' games, food, face painting, balloons, clowns and characters.--Tanya Irwin
