McDonald's CMO Moves To U.S. Cellular

McDonald global chief marketing officer Mary N. Dillon will join U.S. Cellular as president and CEO, effective June 1, the telecommuncations company announced.

Dillon, 48, replaces U.S. Cellular president John E. Rooney, who is retiring. She will also be a member of the company's board.

In her role at McDonald's, Dillon led the company's worldwide marketing and global brand strategy. Prior to joining the company she was president of the Quaker Foods division of PepsiCo.--Aaron Baar
