CAB Taps Yet Another Interpublic Exec, Names Chuck Thompson Head Of Sales

Chuck Thompson, a long-time agency media buyer who most recently was senior vice president, director of client services at Universal McCann has been named senior vice president of sales at the Cabletelevision Advertising Bureau. The position is a new one at the CAB and is the third high-profile agency recruit in the past year, including another former Universal executive, CAB president-CEO, Sean Cunningham, and former Initiative Media research chief Ira Sussman, who was named head of research at the CAB.
