The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) plans to recommend standards and best practices for display advertising on tablets and e-readers, according to Douglas Quenqua. A task force has begun working
on the plans.
After all, Quenqua writes, there's significant money to be made off iPad advertising with this week's announcement that Apple has already secured $60 million in commitments for
its iAd mobile ad network. The money won't flow to Google. The Mountain View, Calif., search engine was excluded from this party.
