  • June 10, 2010
Jordan Brand, a division of Nike, is set to unveil its latest version of the Breakfast Club, a youth-motivational effort, in conjunction with the World Basketball Festival.

The signature Jordan program, a free basketball intensive training clinic that aims to push young athletes to the next level, will run for 10 weeks in New York.

It focuses on kids ages 10 to 16, who have been nominated by the Harlem Boys & Girls Club, Harlem Urban League and Harlem YMCA. The Breakfast Club, originally created by Michael Jordan and his former trainer Tim Grover after the 1989-90 basketball season, teaches workouts that improve stamina and energy.--Sarah Mahoney
