Constance Cannon Frazier has been promoted to chief operating officer. at the American Advertising Federation. She was previously executive vice president, corporate programming and development.
Frazier succeeds Jeffry L. Perlman, who is retiring after 19 years of service to the AAF. Frazier is the first African-American woman to hold the COO post at the AAF and the appointment makes her the
highest-ranking African-American woman at a national advertising trade association. Since joining the organization in 2004, Ms. Frazier has increased corporate support of diversity programs.
