Bounty's New Web Video Brings In The Noise

  • August 6, 2010

Procter & Gamble said the latest Bounty music video netted 650,000 views in less than two weeks, with 450,000 consumers viewing the video on the first day.

The program started July 22 as part of a YouTube home page takeover. The second one, "White Glove," featured Joseph "Rev Run" Simmons of Run-DMC fame as Principal Simmons.

The new video follows Bounty's "Bring It" music video on YouTube in March, showing a paper-towel product demo set to rap lyrics performed by the "Paper Towel Gang."

The company says the video is the second in what will be a series of videos released on YouTube. A social media element lets people share the "Bring It" videos on the Bounty Facebook page.
