HBO Grabs Most Emmys, 'Modern Family' Best Comedy

HBO grabbed the most prizes at the Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday, but the big news is that the net's little movie, "Temple Grandin," stole the acting nods and thunder from its $200 million-plus miniseries "The Pacific," reports Reuters. "Temple Grandin" is about an autistic woman who earned a doctorate and revolutionized slaughterhouses; it took home 7 awards. "The Pacific" earned eight, including best miniseries, but most of its acclaim was in the technical categories. ABC ranked No. 2 among the networks with 18 wins, including six for its newly crowned best comedy winner "Modern Family." It was followed by Fox (11), CBS (10) and NBC (8).
