FanDuel, the online fantasy sports game provider, has joined forces with the digital home of the New York Post
. Visitors use real money throughout the football season. The agreement is based on
a revenue share model, which serves as a new source of income for www.nypost.com. FanDuel allows users to draft a fantasy team lasting only one day -- at any point during the season -- and follow the
team's progress online in real time. Participants can win cash prizes the same day they field a fantasy team. Players can use their winnings to finance future drafts or cash out whenever they like.
FanDuel has similar arrangements with The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
and the Orange County Register
. The NYPost.com one-day fantasy draft experience, which
launched today at 12 a.m., will reside at http://www.nypost.com/fantasy.
