On the heels of committing to nine additional episodes of rookie legal drama "Philly," ABC has officially canceled "Thieves," a lighthearted spy caper starring John Stamos and Melissa George, after
just eight episodes. Ten episodes of “Thieves” have already been produced and there's no word yet on when the final segment will air or how ABC plans to fill the slot. Since debuting this fall to
favorable reviews and a solid 9.6 million viewers and a 3.8 rating/12 share with adults 18-49, "Thieves" averaged 7.2 million viewers and a 2.6/7 with adults 18-49. But this past week "Thieves"
slumped to 6.9 million viewers and a 2.1/7 in the demographic.
