Primedia's Telephony magazine today announced that according to their recent survey of telecom professionals, nearly 60% of respondents believe that the Internet, in comparison to mobile wireless,
wireline and satellite networks, is the communications network most at risk for a security encroachment. The survey also revealed that only 26% feel that mobile wireless networks are at high risk for
security breaches. At the same time, only 4% of respondents are concerned over the security of satellite communications networks.
