Condé Nast will relocate the editorial headquarters of
Bon Appétit magazine from California to New York later this year. At the same time, Barbara Fairchild, the longtime editor in
chief, will leave the publication and a new EIC will be named. "The move of Bon Appétit's editorial headquarters to New York is part of the company's continuing efforts to strategically align our
brands for future growth and to enhance efficiencies and coordination by consolidating our assets," said Charles H. Townsend, Condé Nast CEO. The magazine has a rate base of 1.5 million and claim
8 million readers.
