'Motor Trend' To Reveal Awards On Facebook

Motor Trend Magazine is announcing its annual Sport/Utility of the Year Award, but rather than doing so in the magazine, Motor Trend is doing it on Facebook, a first for the company, and probably the auto vertical.  

The company said in a statement that, starting this week and for two weeks leading up to the live unveiling next week, it will roll out the 15 contenders for this year's award on its Facebook page at facebook.com/motortrendmag.

Motor Trend says its print edition reaches an audience of 8 million readers, its website brings 4 million unique visitors a month and its YouTube channel has over 40,000 subscribers.
