Hasbro Sales, Earnings Up 3% Each

Hasbro says its third-quarter revenues climbed 3% to $1.31 billion, compared to $1.28 billion a year ago. And earnings for the Pawtucket, R.I.-based toy company also gained 3% to $155.2 million, compared with $150.4 million in the same period last year.
Sales advanced in the preschool (up 9%), boys (4%) and games and puzzles categories (up 2%). Sales in girls' products slipped 1%.
