Wells Fargo & Co. is sponsoring Atlanta's Day of the Dead, a long-established Mexican tradition that brings together family and friends to remember deceased loved ones.
The event will
be held Nov. 7 and will include a parade and a children's area. The festival is an interactive, educational and cultural celebration that features traditional altars, live musical and cultural
performances, arts and crafts, and authentic food. Lanza Group, LLC, an Atlanta-based Hispanic marketing, PR and events firm, is coordinating the event and sponsors.
"We look
forward to being a part of the inaugural Atlanta Day of the Dead event at Atlantic Station, which is in the shadow of our Atlanta regional office tower," said Jerome Byers, Wells Fargo Atlanta
regional president. "The celebration teaches the significance of the holiday to the community at large, showing the growing importance of Hispanics in Atlanta."--Tanya Irwin
