Telemundo Communications Group, a producer of content for Hispanics in the U.S. and abroad, announced an alliance with AuditionBooth, to provide an online audition platform for Telemundo's full lineup
of shows. The partnership goes into effect in January 2011. Peter Blacker, executive vice president, Digital Media and Emerging Businesses, Telemundo, stated that it was an innovative way to "find
new, fresh faces to star as talent across Telemundo's multiple platform content." Per comScore, over 29 million U.S. Hispanics are online, and U.S. Hispanic Internet audience growth outpaced total
U.S. online population by 50%.
