Obit: Katz Radio Vet Stu Olds, Dead At 60

Stu Olds, the long-time radio sales executive who most recently was president-CEO of Clear Channel Communications' Katz Media unit, died Friday. He was 60.

Sorry to hear of Stu's passing...I remember him as a young exec at Leo Burnett just out of graduate business school and later as a competitor in the Radio business when he worked in Detroit. He will be missed.

Stu called on me when I was a media supervisor at Y&R Detroit back in the 70's. He was nice, smart and professional. Classy and always a pleasure to work with. We lose another of the "good guys."
