Cisco and the National Hockey League have renewed their strategic partnership, with the former providing video technology solutions to the latter from the front office to the fan experience.

In addition to providing its TelePresence video collaboration system to league offices in New York and Toronto, Cisco will start producing Flip video cameras that feature the NHL Logo or a custom design representing anyone of the league's 30 teams. In addition, Edmonton Oilers right wing Jordan Eberle and Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin will be featured in Cisco's "Do You Flip" holiday campaign.

With Flip Video, we have opened a world of personal video that is simple, affordable and Fun," said Simon Fleming-Wood, vice president of Americas Marketing, for Cisco Consumer products, in a statement. "Working with the NHL, we can empower hockey fans to shoot and share amazing video on or off the ice, while also showing support for their favorite team with a unique NHL jersey-designed Flip."

Cisco's technology will also be on display at marquee NHL events inside and outside the venues, giving fans access to exclusive content and data while at the hockey arenas.
