TLC, one of the highest-rated female channels in the United States, targeting women 25-49, will launch in Russia (Jan. 14), Romania (Jan. 20) and expanding distribution in Sweden following the initial
launch on Dec. 2. TLC is part of Discovery Networks. Said Mark Hollinger, president and CEO, DNI: "We expect these new TLC markets will deliver increased ratings and distribution growth, continuing
the strong results TLC has experienced in Europe and Asia since the initial launch last year." TLC is on track to reach 75 markets and 100 million households in 2011.
