Over half of retail associates said online shopping tools made shoppers better informed than the people at stores hired to inform them, according to a survey by Motorola Solutions. The survey found
that retailers can't keep up with technology that will keep them a step ahead of tech-savvy consumers. And it's hurting their bottom line. The survey said 28% of store visits involved an average of
$132 unspent because of deal seeking, out-of-stock products, limited store associate assistance and long check outs.
