Chu is also working to improve user discovery of apps in Market, while weeding out apps that violate Android Market's terms of service. The Android Market has an estimated 200,000 apps, compared to about 350,000 in Apple's App Store. Last week, Apple said it had sold 10 billion apps since the store had opened in mid-2008. Google hasn't said how many apps have been sold through its Android Marketplace.
