Amy Winter was named general manager and EVP of TLC and Edward Sabin was named group chief operating officer, Discovery and TLC Networks. Winter oversees programming, production, development, new
media and marketing for Discovery Communications' U.S. female-targeted flagship. Previously, she was TLC's SVP of marketing, creative and before that, she worked at TBS. Sabin, in charge of strategy
and network operations, previously served as COO of TLC. Prior to joining Discovery in 2007, Sabin was with Fox Television Studios in charge of business ops.
