Mini App Gives IPhone Virtual Countryman Car

  • March 7, 2011
BMW's Mini division is launching a mobile app via AOR Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners, and Helios. The iPhone app lets users take pictures that superimpose Mini Countryman vehicles over whatever they have in the frame.

The app is available via a QR code included in a print ad in the March issue of Wired, and will be available through the iTunes Store, Facebook and at MiniUSA.com.

The application includes four different colors and configurations of the vehicle, superimposed on the live video feed from their phone's built-in camera.
