  • March 15, 2011
Google's AdMob announced the rollout of several new mobile products including a beta version of its software development kit for Windows Phone 7, which lets developers integrate advertising into apps on the Microsoft platform. The SDK is designed to support text and banner ads along with a variety of post-click actions including opening a Web page and linking directly to the App Marketplace.

Publishers can download the new software tools by logging into their AdMob account and adding Windows Phone 7 as a site type. AdMob has also updated its existing iOS and Android SDKs, including enhanced HTML5 support to help advertisers create more engaging ads as well as supporting full-screen interstitial formats for the iPad and Android tablets. More than 50,000 mobile applications across iOS, Android, and webOS devices currently use AdMob's monetization tools, according to the company.--Mark Walsh
