Rand McNally has kicked off a five-month long trucker appreciation tour featuring two trucks with custom-built trailers that will visit Pilot and Flying J travel centers in the U.S.

Starting in Louisville, Kentucky at the Mid-America Trucking Show, the tour will promote Rand McNally's IntelliRoute TND navigation products. The two road teams will visit over 200 Pilot and Flying J locations over 22 weeks, doing navigation demonstrations, giveaways, games and activities, as well as the opportunity to enter a Navigator of the Year contest.  

The latter program awards $25,000 to a driver deemed to be the top navigator.  Eligible drivers may enter the contest online, answering a series of short questions about their lives on the road and why they should be named Navigator of the Year.  The winner will be featured at the Great American Truck Show in Dallas, Texas this August.
