Symphony Unveils Cross-Media Service, Names Manish Bhatia CEO

Symphony Technology Group this morning announced the launch of Symphony Advanced Media, a new company providing cross-media advertising performance analytics and consumer research, and named former Nielsen digital research honcho Manish Bhatia as CEO. The company combines behavioral data about consumers' actual media usage with survey-based research to measure ad performance across all media, including online, TV and mobile. Symphony did not disclose its client roster, but said they include "leading global brand advertisers in the media, automotive, financial services, pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods and telecom industries." Prior to its launch announcement, Symphony said it acquired San Francisco-based ad effectiveness measurement firm Factor Technology Group.
