Golf Town Sponsors Deutche Bank Match

Sports retailer Golf Town is signing on as sponsor of the The Deutsche Bank Championship. The multi-tier partnership includes in-store elements, online marketing and interactive on-site activities. Golf Town will outfit all 1,800 Championship volunteers with its "Gordon Cooper Golf" line of golf apparel.   Consumers who sign up for the Golf Town LeaderBoard Membership Privileges Program can purchase tickets for $55. The "LeaderBoard" program also includes offers on purchases, invitations to exclusive events, advance equipment testing opportunities, and golf tips.

Golf Town will also have an in-store-only package comprising competition grounds ticket voucher and a parking pass. Golf Town will also provide two $5,000 sweepstakes for shopping sprees and 10% off coupons to all ticket buyers for use in any of the five Golf Town Massachusetts locations.

The 2011 Deutsche Bank Championship features an $8 million purse and a $1.35 million winner's check. The Championship enters its fifth year as a PGA Tour Playoff event
