AOL's Patch.com is now in 813 markets, and according to president Warren Webster, is meeting its goals. He told an industry conference that Patch is now reaching 6.9 million unique visitors, and has
seen 194% growth in the past six months, notes BIA/Kelsey. The site will continue to add new communities, including some special local/vertical sites, such as inner city Newark. Patch is expected to
hit the 1,000 site mark by year's-end.
