John F. Sturm, president and CEO of the Newspaper Association of America, is retiring in September. His replacement is expected to be announced next week. Sturm was named president and CEO in 1995 and
led NAA through one of the newspaper industry's most tumultuous periods. Before his NAA tenure, he served as legal counsel to CBS, NBC and the FCC.
