A recent study by the London-based blur Group found that "digital natives" are spearheading the 'knowledge-as-a-service' (KaaS) movement, developing new organizations and helping older models adapt to the digital business culture.

Based on data from 1,546 entrepreneurs from 130 countries around the world, the report states that nearly 40% of entrepreneurs are involved in innovations in the 'knowledge-as-a-service' industry. (25% of the entrepreneurs are under 30.)

New business models are emerging to support the changing economic climate. 40% of entrepreneurs in the KaaS sector are providing business strategy consulting and 33% are digital strategists.

The study looked at members of Innovatrs, an Innovation Exchange where corporations worldwide can discover, partner with or invest in young start-ups and entrepreneurs.
