TBS' Ends "Lopez Tonight" Run

Turner Broadcasting has pulled the plug on 2-year-old late-night talk show "Lopez Tonight." TBS had hoped to use the show to build on its younger viewers, already hooked by its Adult Swim programming. "Lopez Tonight" originally ran weekdays in the 11 p.m. to midnight time slot. Then in April 2010, TBS inked a deal with Conan O'Brien for a show that premiered in November in the 11 p.m. time slot, pushing back Lopez to midnight. TBS has reached the difficult decision not to order a third season of "Lopez Tonight." "Thursday will be the final episode of the show," stated the company.
