USA Network To Air Masters in HDTV

USA Networks plans to introduce its new high-definition television service with its coverage of the Masters golf tournament later this month. USA plans to broadcast the coverage live beginning at 4 p.m. on April 10-11. The tournament will be broadcast in HDTV that will consist of 42 integrated cameras. "HDTV will introduce our viewers to a whole new dimension of televising the Masters on USA Network. This technology will enable viewers to feel as if they're sitting in the front row of the gallery," said Doug Holloway, president of USA's Network Distribution.
