Levi's Sales, Profits Up For Quarter

Levi Strauss & Co. says its third-quarter revenues rose 9% to $1.28 billion, or 4% excluding currency. And net income climbed to $32 million. The company credited the gains to improved sales of its Levi’s around the world, including the expansion and performance of its retail network.

In the U.S., sales of its Dockers brand declined. And in Europe, it says the continued success of its Levi’s Curve ID collection for women were more than offset by declines in the wholesale business.
