InfoUSA Inc. has acquired Yesmail Inc., a unit of CMGI Inc. for cash, according to an agreement reached by the two companies on Feb. 28. InfoUSA said the acquisition of Yesmail, which provides email
acquisition and retention services, will expand the company's existing email management and automation products. In a press release Monday, InfoUSA named Ed Henrich, a senior Yesmail executive,
president of Yesmail's San Francisco division. InfoUSA named Ed Mallin head of Yesmail's Chicago division. Mallin is president of Walter Karl, the company's list management and brokerage division.
