New Snack Line Supports Veterans

Ad executives Alan Blum and Charles Herbstreith founded Five Point Snacks, which donates a portion of sales to an organization called the Veterans Aid Foundation. They say they plan to donate 11% of profits to the foundation when the company becomes profitable.

And, they say, they want to hire veterans as they build a sales force. The company logo: “Eat. Live. Give.”  The company is promoting itself online, via fivepointsnacks.com, on social media, and later on YouTube, in newspaper advertisements, displays in stores and a commercial that is scheduled to run during television coverage of the Veterans Day parade in New York on Nov. 11.
