MetroPCS Signs Deal With USA Basketball

MetroPCS has signed a deal with USA Basketball today making the Dallas-based company the official wireless partner of USA Basketball.

The deal gives MetroPCS sponsorship, and the bill, for a national mobile tour, and concomitant promotions, former Team USA player appearances, autograph signings, and games. MetroPCS will also offer VIP access to exhibition games in the U.S.

In addition to the national tour and live fan experiences, the partnership also includes courtside signage and in-game exposure during nationally televised USA Basketball men's and women's games, along with inclusion in USA Basketball promotional materials.

USA Basketball, as the governing body for basketball in the United States by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and the United States Olympic Committee (USOC), will select, train and field teams for both the FIBA sponsored international basketball competitions, the Olympics and national competitions.
