Omnicom Acquires Majority Of India's Mudra

Omnicom has agreed to acquire a majority stake in India’s Mudra Group, and agreed to extend a pre-existing partnership with the Reliance ADA Group. Mudra operates four agencies specializing in “branding and communications” (Mudra India), “marketing and advertising” (DDB Mudra), “integrated and experiential” (Mudra Max), and one specifically aimed at entrepreneurial start-ups (Ignite Mudra). As part of the extension of its agreement with Reliance, Omnicom said Chairman Anil Ambani is joining the Omnicom International Advisory Committee.
