Adult Swim Aligns With 'Saints Row'

AdultSwim-DelocatedAdult Swim is attaching its brand to a radio station offered as part of the highly anticipated new THQ video game “Saints Row: The Third.” The station will be hosted by a star of the Turner network’s series “Delocated!” The network is backing its upcoming release.

The station will offer 12 songs from multiple genres with host Jon Glaser, who plays a man in the witness protection program starring in a reality show, which is in season two. The video game will be released next week.

“We continue to look for more ways to provide Adult Swim enthusiasts with the brand experience in non-traditional network environments,” stated John O’Hara, who heads sales at Adult Swim sister channel Cartoon Network.

O’Hara stated that Adult Swim is eager to co-brand in both the music and video game sphere, which appeals to its young male audience.

The network will back the video game on its on-air and digital platforms. “Saints Row: The Third” will air on a range of radio stations.

By one measure, Adult Swim’s ratings are up 30% this season in the 18-to-34 demo. Time Warner last week cited Adult Swim as helping to drive its third-quarter ad growth.
