Rovi Thursday unveiled an update to its Rovi Advertising Network across set-top boxes, connected TVs, media players, game consoles and more. It said the new features are designed to enable consumers to interact more with products and services advertised via multimedia content, social networking, requests-for-information, and direct ecommerce. Rovi also announced an expansion of its ad network to more than 40 million households, with new deployments on connected TVs and media players from Samsung and Sony.
