Russell has signed on as sponsor of the first Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl, which features the nation's best high-school players in an east-versus-west matchup. The company will provide uniforms and equipment.

The bowl game is a collaboration between JuniorRank Sports and the United States Marine Corps. The game is Jan. 3 at Chase Field in Phoenix. 

“The Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl is an incredible opportunity for Russell to partner with an organization that promotes teamwork, strong values and positive character both on and off the field,” said Gary Barfield, EVP, Russell Brands, LLC., in a statement.

Russell will outfit all 100 players and provide branded apparel and headwear to coaches and sideline personnel. Russell branded apparel will also be available for fan purchase at the event and on the bowl game Web site. In addition, Russell will provide Spalding balls and bike equipment for the game.

The game will air on CBS Sports Network Jan. 3.
