The Magazine Publishers of America (MPA) is launching a sweepstakes for agency media executives and their clients. Grand Prize is a trip for two to the Laluna resort on Grenada via Air Jamaica, and
there are five First Prizes of TiVo personal video recorders with a lifetime of service pre-paid. The ads will be placed in advertising trade publications, on the magazine.org Web site, and in the May
issues of several member magazines, with the drawing scheduled for August. The ads, and prizes, take a tongue-in-cheek poke at declining TV audiences due to devices like TiVo, as opposed to "the
consistency of attentiveness of ads in magazines" said Ellen Oppenheim, Executive Vice President/Chief Marketing Officer, MPA.
