Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia announced Wednesday that it would launch a new half-hour syndicated show called
Petkeeping with Marc Morrone. Petkeeping's first season will include original
segments and some repackaged petkeeping segments from Morrone's appearances on Martha Stewart Living. Morrone begaon on TV in 1994 with his Metro Channel show about pets and was later picked up by
Stewart. Petkeeping with Marc Morrone is distributed by Hearst Entertainment Inc. and will launch in September in more than 130 TV markets and 90% coverage. Morrone will continue to appear on the
Martha Stewart Living TV show as well as continue to write his column in Martha Stewart Kids magazine and his petkeeping articles in Martha Stewart Living magazine. Opportunities for newspaper
syndication are being explored, according to Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. "Introducing the Petkeeping with Marc Morrone brand is an exciting next step in the evolution of MSO. It enables us to
further leverage our company's Omnimedia business model and infrastructure, building broader recognition for the next generation of Martha Stewart Living experts, discovered and trained by Martha, in
