MTV Moves Upfront To April

MTV, encouraged by improved ratings numbers, is moving its upfront presentation from February to April 26, reports B&C. For the past two years, MTV has been among the earliest networks in the upfront advertising market, when cable channels sell more than half their commercial inventory.  A rep for MTV calls its past early strategy a success: "In the last two years, our overall ratings have grown nearly 30% and our prime-time '10 Spot' audience has nearly doubled."
