Paredes Heads NBC's Golf Ad Sales

Some more tinkering at NBC Sports Group.  Tom Paredes has been named vp for NBC Sports Group's Golf Vertical, heading up all advertising sales for the Golf Channel and 'Golf Channel on NBC' branded programming which runs on the NBC network.

A 13-year veteran, Paredes had been vp of advertising sales for NBC Sports and NBC Sports Network. He will work with Nick Johnson, senior vp of NBC Sports Group Digital Sales, and continues to report to Seth Winter, senior vp of sales & marketing for NBC Sports Group.

Recently Ron Furman, who had run all sports sales for Comcast Networks, including the Golf Channel, left the company.
