Cadbury used its social media profiles to launch its Dairy Milk Bubbly candy bar on Google+. This appears to be the first product launch to rely on this channel, reports econsultancy.
The brand announced the new product first on Google+, although that was quicky fllowed by Facebook and Twitter mentions.
In addition, the bar's wrapper is Blippar-enabled, so that consumers can access extra content using the augmented reality app.
