Samsung Uses Super Bowl For Galaxy Note

  • January 31, 2012

Samsung Mobile will use its time during the Super Bowl on Sunday to introduce the country to its new tablet/phone hybrid  Galaxy Note.

The 90-second commercial was shot by Hollywood director Bobby Farrelly (of "There’s Something About Mary" fame), and uses footage from the device’s camera in the ad. The commercial marks the first time Samsung has advertised on the big game.

“During the past six months we’ve launched the Galaxy S II, Galaxy Nexus and now the Galaxy Note super phone in North America bringing unparalleled innovation to the marketplace,” said Todd Pendleton, Chief Marketing Officer for Samsung Telecommunications America, in a statement. “The Galaxy Note ushers in the era of truly personalized communications, allowing people to capture, share and create like never before.”
